This is the first entry into my devblog for our first game, Atomic Zenith (tentative title). Progress has been moving along relatively smoothly. The player and enemy sprites have hit detection enabled. Impact with each other and bullets destroys the individual sprites. I have also implemented a lives count for the player and a game over screen. I have implemented some sound effects and music, which helps a lot in making the game feel like an actual game. Level design and graphics overall are still early and incomplete. I am happy overall with the progress so far.
